Betty Bumbles Vintage Tea Rooms

15th March 2015

Visited - Betty Bumbles Vintage Tea Rooms in St Neots

This was a bit of a random choice, we had generally stuck to your 'normal' cafes and chains however it was a very welcome change. We turned up at 10am as they were opening and had a warm welcome, baring in mind it was Mother's Day it wasn't to busy at all and managed to get a nice spot upstairs. They came to take our order quickly but had a little wait for it to arrive, time flew as we were nattering away they did apologies and said is was due to the grills etc warming up. Craig and Monika went for the English breakfast, Hev and Ross went for the three tired breakfast and so did we especially with the added bonus of being able to share with Evan. The English breakfast were a good size and had the extra bonus of bubble and squeak and both Craig and Monika were very happy with their choice. However I think there was a little food envy as the three tied breakfast didn't just have pasties (as we thought it might) but also came with a breakfast muffin (bacon and fried egg) and at £15.95 for two people or in our case three it was good value for money especially with the endless tea, one thing I do think is slightly odd is that is comes with crisps!! but again for Evan this made breakfast that little bit more special. Highly recommend a visit to Betty bumbles for breakfast especially if it's for a special occasion, but if I was to go back I would arrive at 10.30am gives them time to get things 'warmed up'

Price - Slightly above average on price but well worth it especially with the tea and coffee included in the breakfast price. 7/10

Quality- Great quality I would say it's above average 9/10

Quantity- Although as a general rule you think you either get quantity or quality this ticked both the boxes none of us went away hungry 9/10
